This is how the karmic law works:
No matter whether fair or unfair,
No matter whether it is true or not,
No matter whether or not he acknowledges the act,
Nor does he care whether or not he recognizes the law of karma,
That is what he will later accept and experience by himself.
Committing crimes with pleasure,
Before and after the deed is done,
Even without regret,
Resulting in bad karma produces more fruit.
As simple as that,
Principles and workings of the law of karma.
No need to ask the executor to execute,
No need to dirty your own hands to execute the perpetrator,
All done by the law of karma,
Without being asked,
And without orders.
For that,
The Buddha then said:
Do not do evil,
Reproduce good and righteous virtuous deeds,
Purify and compassionate your heart and mind,
That is the teaching of the Buddhas.
All beings,
Having his own deeds,
Inheriting his own deeds,
Born of his own deeds,
With regard to his own deeds,
Shielded by his own deeds.
Whatever the deeds he did,
Good or bad,
That's what he will inherit.
I am the owner of my own deeds,
The heir of my own deeds,
Born of my own deeds,
Due to my own deeds,
Protected by my own deeds.
Whatever I do,
Good or bad,
That is what I will inherit,
So often we should reflect.
The Buddha, when slandered and hurt,
Never talk much, whether the perpetrator or the Buddha who has been wrong, though clearly the Buddha as a victim.
Why?
Since it is most appropriate to be afraid,
Is the perpetrator itself,
The real one is digging his own grave.
Those who truly understand the principle of karmic law work,
Never want to be bothered on the attitude of other people who have to be evil to us,
Not too daunted to the action of reversing the facts.
Everything works as it should, that's the law of karma.
Do not want to be hurt,
Do not hurt.
Want to be respected,
Then respect others,
Though it's a small creature like a weak ant,
Because they can also feel pain and want to stay alive.
The Buddha taught his disciples to be a knight against his own deeds,
Both great deeds and small deeds,
To dare to bear the fruit of his deeds.
Instead of relying on and asking for the remission of sins,
A lure of heavenly promises that blinds the eyes, and mass deception,
Cause innocent victims to continue falling.

Beginilah cara kerja hukum karma:
Tidak perduli adil atau tidak adil perbuatan tersebut,
Tidak perduli benar atau tidak benar perbuatan demikian,
Tidak perduli ia mengakui atau tidaknya perbuatan tersebut,
Tidak juga perduli apakah ia mengakui atau tidaknya hukum karma,
Perbuatan itulah yang kelak akan ia terima dan alami sendiri.
Melakukan kejahatan dengan senang hati,
Sebelum dan sesudah perbuatan dilakukan,
Bahkan tanpa disesali,
Mengakibatkan karma buruk berbuah secara lebih lebat.
Sesederhana itu saja,
Prinsip dan cara kerja hukum karma.
Tidak perlu meminta eksekutor untuk mengeksekusi,
Tidak perlu mengotori tangan sendiri untuk mengeksekusi sang pelaku,
Semua dikerjakan oleh hukum karma,
Tanpa diminta,
Dan tanpa diperintah.
Untuk itulah,
Sang Buddha kemudian bersabda:
Janganlah berbuat kejahatan,
Perbanyak perbuatan bajik yang baik dan benar,
Sucikan hati dan pikiran,
Itulah ajaran para Buddha.
Semua makhluk,
Memiliki perbuatannya sendiri,
Mewarisi perbuatannya sendiri,
Lahir dari perbuatannya sendiri,
Berhubungan dengan perbuatannya sendiri,
Terlindung oleh perbuatannya sendiri.
Apapun perbuatan yang diperbuatnya,
Baik ataupun buruk,
Itulah yang akan diwarisinya.
Aku adalah pemilik perbuatanku sendiri,
Pewaris perbuatanku sendiri,
Lahir dari perbuatanku sendiri,
Berhubung dengan perbuatanku sendiri,
Terlindung oleh perbuatanku sendiri.
Apapun perbuatan yang kuperbuat,
Baik atau buruk,
Itulah yang akan kuwarisi,
Demikianlah kerap kali patut kita renungkan.
Sang Buddha, ketika difitnah dan disakiti,
Tidak pernah banyak bicara, apakah si pelaku ataukah Sang Buddha yang telah salah, meski jelas Sang Buddha sebagai korban.
Mengapa?
Karena yang paling patut untuk merasa takut,
Ialah si pelaku kejahatan,
Yang sejatinya tengah menggali lubang kubur sendiri.
Mereka yang benar-benar memahami prinsip kerja hukum karma,
Tidak pernah mau pusing atas sikap orang lain yang telah bersikap jahat terhadap kita,
Tidak juga gentar terhadap aksi putar-balik fakta.
Semua bekerja sebagaimana mestinya, itulah hukum karma.
Tidak mau disakiti,
Jangan menyakiti.
Ingin dihormati,
Maka hormatilah orang lain,
Sekalipun itu seekor makhluk kecil seperti seekor semut yang lemah,
Karena mereka juga dapat merasakan sakit dan ingin berjuang hidup.
Sang Buddha mengajarkan para muridnya untuk bersikap ksatria terhadap berbagai perbuatannya sendiri,
Baik perbuatan besar maupun perbuatan kecil,
Untuk berani menanggung buah akibat perbuatannya.
Bukan mengandalkan dan memohon penghapusan dosa,
Sebuah iming-iming janji surgawi yang melenakan dan pembodohan massal,
Mengakibatkan korban-korban tidak bersalah terus berjatuhan.
